How much time do you need to set up?

Usually around 2 hours, but presentation and safety are important to us, so we always welcome any additional time for preparation.

What happens if there is a problem with the volume?

Soul Devotion is a party band and we believe that a certain level of volume is needed to create a party atmosphere - having said that, our sound engineers are always happy to work with clients and cater to their requirements.

How long do you play for?

This varies depending on the client's requirements; however a typical performance would consist of two sets, each lasting approximately 45 - 60 minutes.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and do you have equipment PAT tested?

Yes, both of which are renewed annually.

How much does it cost to hire Soul Devotion?

There are many parameters to consider when calculating a fee, particularly with such a large band. So before providing a quotation, we would take into consideration distance from North Staffordshire, performance times, expenses and whether accomidation is required or provided. Please contact us for a personalised quote.

How do we pay?

A 10% deposit is required to secure any booking (usually in the form of a cheque) with the remainder payable on the day of the performance - again, a cheque is acceptable, or cash if preferred by the client.

Can you supply background music?

Yes, our sound engineers have a wide selection of music and will cater this to suit the event type. Also, we are happy to work with clients who wish to provide thier own music, either in the form of CDs or a self-contained mobile DJ.

How much space do you require?

Soul Devotion are fairly flexible and can squeeze into almost any venue. For guidance purposes - where portable staging is used - 6 metres x 3 metres is usually adequate to accommodate the entire band; however, this does not include floor space for off-stage front-of-house speakers or lighting. There is also a requirement off-stage for the lighting and sound engineers and their equipment - approximately 2 metres x 1 metre.
